Galați TV Tower is a 110-metre (360 ft) tall concrete tower used for FM and TV broadcasting in Galați, Romania. The tower, completed in 1978, is equipped with a tower restaurant, perhaps the only of this kind in Romania.

Mihai Eminescu was a Romanian Romantic poet, novelist, and journalist from Moldavia, generally regarded as the most famous and influential Romanian poet. Eminescu was an active member of the Junimea literary society and worked as an editor for the newspaper Timpul, the official newspaper of the Conservative Party (1880–1918).
