The Kuang Si Falls or Kuang Xi Falls, alternatively known as the Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a multi-tiered waterfall in Laos about 29 kilometers (18 mi) south of the town of Luang Prabang. The journey takes 53 minutes from Luang Prabang Night Market downtown. The waterfalls are a favorite side trip for tourists in Luang Prabang, and begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside.

Mount Phou Si, also written Mount Phu Si, is a 100 m (328 ft) high hill in the centre of the old town of Luang Prabang in Laos. It lies in the heart of the old town peninsula and is bordered on one side by the Mekong River and on the other side by the Nam Khan River. The hill is a local religious site, and houses several Buddhist shrines.

Near Pak Ou the Tham Ting and the Tham Theung are caves overlooking the Mekong River, 25 km to the north of Luang Prabang, Laos. They are a group of two caves on the west side of the Mekong river, about two hours upstream from the centre of Luang Prabang, and are frequently visited by tourists.

The Royal Palace in Luang Prabang, Laos, was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. The site for the palace was chosen so that official visitors to Luang Prabang could disembark from their river voyages directly below the palace and be received there. After Sisavang's death, the crown prince Savang Vatthana and his family were the last to occupy the grounds.

Wat Xieng Thong is a Buddhist temple on the northern tip of the peninsula of Luang Prabang, Laos. Built between 1559 and 1560 by King Setthathirath, Wat Xieng Thong is one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

Buddha Park, also known as Xieng Khuan, is a sculpture park 25 km southeast from Vientiane, Laos, in a meadow by the Mekong River. Although it is not a temple (wat), it may be referred to as Wat Xieng Khuan, since it contains numerous religious images. The name Xieng Khuan means "spirit city".

Haw Phra Kaew also written as Ho Prakeo, Hor Pha Keo, Ho Phra Kaew, Ho Phra Kaeo and other similar spellings, is a former temple in Vientiane, Laos. It is situated on Setthathirath Road, to the southeast of Wat Si Saket. It was first built in 1565 to house the Emerald Buddha, but has been rebuilt several times.

In romanizing the name from the Laotian language, it is variously transliterated as Patuxai, Patuxay, Patousai and Patusai.

Pha That Luang is a gold-covered Buddhist stupa in Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. Since its initial establishment, suggested to be in the 3rd century AD, the stupa has undergone reconstructions, including in the 1930s, due to invasions of the area.
