Bishkek, formerly known as Pishpek, and then Frunze (1926–1991), is the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan. The city is also the capital of the Chüy Region. It is situated near the border with Kazakhstan and has a population of around 1,200,000 people as of 2024.

Dordoy Bazaar is a large wholesale and retail market in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The largest bazaar in Kyrgyzstan, it is one of Asia's greatest public marketplaces, comparable to Bangkok's Chatuchak Weekend Market or Tehran's Grand Bazaar.

Osh Bazaar is one of the largest bazaars in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It is located on the west side of the city, and is not far from the Western Bus Station. Osh Bazaar in Bishkek was created in 1983, at the same time as other bazaars in other Kyrgyz cities.

Panfilov Park is an urban park located near Old Square and Manas Square in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. The park bears the name of Hero of the Soviet Union, and the chairman of the Military Committee of the Kirghiz SSR, Ivan Panfilov. The park was made in the shape of a star when it was built.
