The Freedom Square or Liberty Square, also known as Opera Square and, formerly, Theatre Square until 1991, is a town square located in Kentron (Center) district of Yerevan, Armenia. The square is part of the Yerevan Opera Theater complex, located just to the south of the main opera building, between the opera park and the Swan lake.

The Matenadaran, officially the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, is the largest center for the storage, study and popularization of Armenian manuscripts, combining the functions of a museum, archive and scientific institution. It holds the most extensive collection of Armenian manuscripts in existence.

Republic Square is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It consists of two sections: an oval roundabout and a trapezoid-shaped section which contains a pool with musical fountains. The square is surrounded by five major buildings built in pink and yellow tuff in the neoclassical style with extensive use of Armenian motifs.

The Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, also known as the Yerevan Cathedral, is the largest cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church. It is located in the Kentron District of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and is one of the largest religious buildings in the South Caucasus along with the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi.

The Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, simply known by locals as 'Opera', is an opera theatre in Yerevan. It officially opened on 20 January 1933, with a performance of Alexander Spendiaryan's opera Almast; the venue is named after this composer. The opera building was designed by architect Alexander Tamanian.

Zoravor Surp Astvatsatsin Church is the second oldest surviving church in Yerevan. It was previously known as Surp Astvatsatsin. However, the name Zoravor was added because the church was home to the 13th century bible of Zoravor.
