In 2011, a study named Bahnhofstrasse the most expensive street for retail property in Europe, and the third-most-expensive worldwide. In 2016, the street ranked ninth.

The Fraumünster is a church in Zurich, Switzerland, which was built on the remains of a former abbey for aristocratic women and which was founded in 853 by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. He endowed the Benedictine convent with the lands of Zurich, Uri, and the Albis forest, and granted the convent immunity, placing it under his direct authority.

The Kunsthaus Zürich is an art museum in Zurich. It is the biggest art museum in Switzerland by area and houses one of the most important art collections in Switzerland, assembled over time by the Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft, a nonprofit art society. Lake Zurich is a lake in Switzerland, that extends southeast of the city of Zurich. Depending on the context, Lake Zurich or Zürichsee may refer to the entire lake or specifically to the section downstream of the Hurden peninsula and Seedamm causeway. In the latter case, the upstream part of the lake is called Obersee, while the lower part is sometimes also referred to as the Lower Lake, respectively.
