The Benin Moat, also known as the Benin City Iya, the Inner City Iya of Benin or the Wall of Benin, is a large earthwork within Benin City in Nigeria's Edo state, part of which formerly encircled the city at the time of the Benin Empire.

The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is a museum that has been built in Benin City, Nigeria and was planned to open on 11 November 2025. However, due to political protests during opening ceremony, the museum remains closed until further notice. It will show over 300 items on loan from European museums.
